On Saturday me and Brian Jennings went on a climbing trip to Tahquitz rock. During our drive we experienced some light rain but after approch to the base of the rock weather seemed to clear out. We did two pitches of easy rock at most 5.4. At the end of the 2nd pitch I got little waterfall coming on me with hail bouncing of my helmet. At that point we decided to bail. If we didn't pictures show what would have happen to us. With rolling thunders we may have been electrocuted out there as well. Here are some images I have taken of the incoming storm, rescue helicopter and little waterfall that was right next to us. I would have taken more pictures but my camera was not waterproof and it got wet. It was pouring down so hard that my water resistant soft shell was soaked through. Good thing BJ realized that we may be rained on after I pointed out dark clouds close by and didn't lead us to a harder bailout position.
