San Mateo Falls

On Saturday May 26th - long Memorial day weekend I went for a long condition hike in the South California wilderness. The hike was about 15miles long. The main attraction of this hike is a waterfall that we visited. On our way to the waterfall we crossed at least a dozen small streams most of which were dry. It is very dry everywhere and even the falls are just a small dripping mini falls. We were all happy to see this mini falls as any water was better than nothing. At the end of the hike cold beer was just wonderful.
