This was a trip that was continuation of Kern River Rafting I but with much smaller group and only one raft. Our leader, Matt, was steering the raft while the rest of us was the crew or the engine. Lots of fun on the river, on the 2nd day me and Dave fell out of the raft since we were sitting at the front and the raft hit a rock. Went down the river at a rather high speed - a bit of excitement here. Overall class 4 rapids are not very hard to go through - maybe more of a challenge if they are in rapid succession. I am ready for class 5 rapids. As for class 6 I am a bit worried, since I know that some of these rapids got the top rating because if you fall out of the raft you may drown. You drown because the rapid has a tendency to draw people in. Maybe will try these once I am more experienced with a crew that I regularly train with. For now I am looking forward to class 5. Stacey is also all about class 5, so I got one more person ready for anything :)
