Pictures from my trip to Italy : Bus incident

The mountain passes in Italy can be very treacherous as the bus driver of this stranded German bus and his elderly passengers found out. The main road across the mountains was closed, thus everyone was forced to use alternate route. The road elevation on a sharp turn changed to drastically for the bus to make it, it got stuck - its belly sticking to the road. We were so close we saw the bus make the turn and get stuck. We were also fortunate enough to have enough space in front of us to be able to make a U turn and go back. On our way back we noticed 100's of cars stuck and Italian police followed by a large crane. I bet some of these people were stuck there for hours.
